Renée is a financial journalist based in Toronto, Ont. She has worked at Transcontinental Media, the Toronto Star, and Yahoo! Canada. In her 15+ years of freelancing, she has written extensively about personal finance, including insurance, mortgages, investing, business, philanthropy for high-net-worth clients, and ghost-writing for advisors. She has also written content related to performance management and lifestyle, and is the creator and editor-in-chief of The Budgette, a newsletter on finances for single people.
Renée holds degrees from the University of Toronto in English and Political Science, and from Toronto Metropolitan University in Journalism.
